Judge Sides With Chicago Tribune in University ?Clout List? Dispute

A federal judge says the University of Illinois is mistaken in citing the federal Family Education Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 in its denial of the Tribune’s efforts to obtain the names, grade-point averages and college admissions test scores of students whose applications were pushed by public officials or university trustees.
