Klein Named CEO of NNN

By:

Newspaper National Network (NNN) of New York named Jason E. Klein president and CEO, succeeding President and General Manager Nicholas Cannistraro Jr., who retired Dec. 31.

NNN is a for-profit limited liability partnership between the Newspaper Association of America (NAA) of Vienna, Va., and 23 publishing companies. NNN allows national advertisers to place ads in any newspaper in the U.S.

Klein, 42, is former president and CEO of Times Mirror Magazines and Time4 Media, and founder of Healthy Living Media. He also served as a vice president for Times Mirror Co., now owned by Tribune Co.

“NNN sales have more than doubled over the past four years, to over $220 million,” Klein said in a statement. “I look forward to continuing that trend by being at the forefront of delivering innovative national newspaper programs to broader range of marketers.”
