Krause-Biagosch GmbH, Bielefeld, Germany, will introduce in October the next generation of its LS Jet platesetter, the LS Jet Multiformat.
More than 400 high-speed LS Jets are installed worldwide. Modularity of Krause’s violet-imaging platesetters has been the basis for developing four other platesetters: the LS Performance, the LS Performance XXL, the CTP Easy and the LS Jet Asia.
At Ifra Expo in Hamburg, Germany, LS Jet Multiformat will be released in four models, capable of producing 200, 250, 300 and 350 plates per hour, each with multiple plate formats in direct access and a loading capacity of up to 2,000 plates. Krause says the new platesetter offers “straightforward integration” with existing prepress systems and a sleek design.
Besides speed, capacity and multiple formats, the new machine incorporates features for easy maintenance to help increase Krause CTP users’ competitiveness.
Because the LS Jet Multiformat is based on modular construction using readily available components to enable competitive production, customers benefit from shorter delivery times, a simplified spare parts supply and optimized on-site service, according to Krause.
