Tom Mohr has been promoted to president of Knight Ridder Digital, as the management changes at Knight Ridder continue to have a ripple effect. Mohr succeeds Hilary Schneider, who was appointed as senior vice president of the newspaper division last week.
Mohr will be responsible for day-to-day operations and the print and online classified division, effective Jan. 1. Previously, he was vice president at KRD and director of classifieds. Mohr joined Knight Ridder Digital in 2002 and has held senior positions at McClatchy and Gannett.
The company also announced that Tracy Martin, CFO of KRD, has been named senior vice president, local operations for the division. Martin will maintain his duties overseeing the financial and legal aspects of KRD.
Anna Zornosa will also be involved with CrossMedia Services in addition to her responsibilities with national sales, product, and audience development. Dean Denhart, CTO, will now oversee project management along with the company’s technology and engineering aspects.
