Ruben Navarrette Jr., who lost his job as columnist and editorial writer along with 35 other journalists at the San Diego Union-Tribune, will continue to write his syndicated column for Washington Post Writers Group.
Naverrette’s twice-weekly column is picked up by 111 clients, Writers Group Managing Editor James Hill told Richard Prince, who first reported the story on his Journal-isms blog.
CNN.com will also continue to publish the separate column Navarrette writes for the site, Prince reported.
Navarrette, 43, joined the Union-Tribune in 2005 from the Dallas Morning News. Prior to that he was a reporter with the Arizona Republic.
