Late Columnist Grizzard Will Be Portrayed at S.C. Show

A one-man show called “Lewis Grizzard: In His Own Words” will be performed this Friday at the Fine Arts Center of Kershaw County in Camden, S.C.

Grizzard, who died in 1994, was a humor columnist syndicated to more than 400 newspapers by King Features.

The State of Columbia, S.C., reported that Grizzard will be portrayed by actor/impersonator Bill Oberst Jr., who has also portrayed notables such as Mark Twain.
