Lee Enterprises promoted Suzanna Frank to the newly created position of vice president, audience. She was previously the company’s director of research and marketing.
The new position, according to a company statement, reflects the “increasing importance of developing both print and online audiences.”
In her new role, Frank will oversee circulation and readership growth efforts and will help build a larger online audience. She will also took over the responsibilities of Nancy Green, Lee’s VP of circulation, who was named vice president of circulation for Lee St. Louis.
“[Frank] has moved us dramatically forward in measuring and understanding our many audiences and has provided marketing know-how to our sales teams,” Mary Junck, chairman and CEO of Lee, said in a statement. “Suzanna is uniquely qualified for this new, key role that will focus on driving the continued growth of our audiences.”
Prior to joining Lee in 2003, Frank was market research manager for the San Diego Union-Tribune and a senior consultant at Kannon Consulting.
