Tuesday’s Loveland (Colo.) Reporter-Herald was the first to be printed on the Lehman Communications’ new four-tower manroland Uniset 75 press, centerpiece of a new, 60,000-square-foot production plant in Berthoud (E&P Online, Nov. 5, 2007).
The company plans to sell the Goss urbanite press that had printed at the plant of its Longmont Times-Call since 1973.
The Reporter-Herald called readers’ attention to its ability to print color on all pages of its slightly narrower and shorter editions and those of the company’s Times-Call.
Lehman, which also publishes the Lafayette News, Louisville Times, Erie Review, and Superior Observer weeklies and numerous commercial products, also installed Quipp Systems press conveying and bundle-distribution equipment and runs Muller Martini SLS2000 and SLS3000 inserters.
