Life Through the Eyes of a War Photographer

Since he was a child, Peter van Agtmael has been interested in going to war, though he admits he wasn’t sure exactly what he would be doing once he got there.
It turned out he would go to war as a photographer. Some of his work from both Iraq and Afghanistan, taken from 2006–13 has recently been published as a book titled Disco Night Sept.11 by Red Hook Editions.
