Jules Feiffer will receive the Milton Caniff Lifetime Achievement Award during the May 28-30 National Cartoonists Society (NCS) convention in Kansas City.

The Pulitzer Prize-winning Feiffer, 75, is a former Village Voice and Universal Press Syndicate cartoonist as well as an author, playwright, and screenplay writer.

Caniff (1907-88) was an NCS founder who created the “Terry and the Pirates” and “Steve Canyon” comics.
