The person who was fired last year for posting a “Dilbert” comic at work has landed a job.

“Dilbert” cartoonist Scott Adams, in an effort to help David Steward find work, put the Iowa man’s resume and e-mail address on his blog this February (while also doing a series of strips about the firing).

Blog reader Bob Buchholz subsequently helped Steward polish his resume, which helped the fired worker get another security job, Adams reported today.

The comic Steward posted last year implied that his bosses were “drunken lemurs.”

“Dilbert” runs in more than 2,000 newspapers via United Media.
