After six years away from the drawing board, Marie Woolf has returned to editorial cartooning via the Cagle Cartoons syndicate.

She left cartooning in 1999 to become the full-time art director and Web administrator for the presidential campaign of Sen. Orrin Hatch (R-Utah). After that campaign ended, Woolf continued doing political-advisory work for various candidates.

Woolf (profiled in E&P magazine, April 6, 1996) will once again be one of the few women editorial cartoonists in syndication. She’s doing three cartoons a week for Cagle Cartoons while continuing her work as creative director of Woolf Media and chair/president/CEO of the Arches Corp.
