Republican presidential candidate Sen. John McCain will address members of the Associated Press at the news cooperative’s annual meeting in Washington, D.C., on April 14.
McCain, an Arizona senator who is assured the GOP presidential nomination after winning the key primaries earlier this month, will speak in a morning session, according to an AP release.
AP’s annual meeting is being held at the Washington Convention Center as part of the Capital Conference, a multi-organization gathering that includes the Newspaper Association of America, American Society of Newspaper Editors and NEXPO.
