Mediaspan Hosts ‘Road Show,’ Posts 50-plus Recent Installations

In a series of “road shows” this fall, MediaSpan in Ann Arbor, Mich., will look at operational efficiencies and profitability, especially in the current economic climate. Eamonn Byrne, business director for the World Association of Newspapers, will be the featured speaker. The first session will be held Aug. 27 in Ann Arbor.

In the meantime, MediaSpan reports software installations at more than 50 newspapers in the last quarter. Editorial solutions went into: Advocate Co., Barbados; Aiken (S.C.) Standard, The Sentinel-Tribune, Bowling Green, Ohio; The Brunswick (Ga.) News; Casa Grande Valley (Ariz.) Newspapers; Morning Sentinel, Centralia, Ill.; The Enquirer-Journal, Monroe, N.C.; The Daily Courier, Forest City, N.C.; The News-Record, Gillette, Wyo.; The Daily Times, Maryville, Tenn.; Peninsula Daily News, Port Angeles, Wash.; Review Times, Fostoria, Ohio; The Courier, Findlay, Ohio; The Vicksburg (Miss.) Post; White Mountain (Ariz.) Independent; The Wilson (N.C.) Daily Times.

Installing Mediaspan advertising solutions were: The Daily Telegram, Adrian, Mich.; Advocate Co., Barbados; Aurora (Mo.) Advertiser; Ball State University (Muncie, Ind.); Casa Grande Valley (Ariz.) Newspapers; Goldsboro (N.C.) News-Argus; The Evening Tribune, Hornell, N.Y.; The Lawrence (Kan.) Journal World; The Tribune-Democrat, La Junta, Colo.; Milton (Pa.) Standard Journal; Mineral Daily News-Tribune, Keyser, W.Va.; Moberly (Mo.) Monitor-Index; Montrose (Colo.) Daily Press; The Morning News, Blackfoot, Idaho; The Punxsutawney (Pa.) Circulation systems went into the Adrian (Mich.) Telegram, Barbados’ Advocate Co., Coffeyville Journal and Sapulpa Daily Herald, both in Oklahoma, DMG World Media, Knightstown, Ind., Elizabethton (Tenn.) Star, Gaylord Herald-Times and Petosky News Review, both in Michigan, and Santa Fe New Mexican.

Installing Mediaspan production software were The Sentinel-Tribune, Bowling Green, Ohio, Bryan-College Station (Texas) Eagle, The Daily Texan, University of Texas, Austin, Herald Mail, Hagerstown, Md., Johnson City (Tenn.) Press, and Ontario’s Peterborough Examiner and Sudbury Star.
