MediaSpan, Ann Arbor, Mich., next week will introduce SkyQue, the latest addition to its content management suite, at the Graph Expo and Ifra Expo trade shows, in Chicago and Hamburg, Germany, respectively.
Deployed as a software-as-a-service solution for multichannel publishing, browser-based SkyQue employs an editor that frees content creators to work at the semantic level, without worrying about how text should appear, because channel endpoints apply styles to the content’s structure.
As a hosted service, MediaSpan is responsible for issues of scalability, redundancy and recovery. Users require no desktop client software.
Other features include: extensible metadata, with all custom fields defining the data model; redesigned search interface; workflow, elements and custom data model for each asset type; easy-to-use, streamlined palettes for pagination; watched assets, to easily track and organize important assets; contextualized messages for enhanced collaboration.
