Mediaspectrum Inc., Burlington, Mass., has announced its advertising production platform’s successful go-live at Australia’s largest newspaper publisher, News Ltd.
The platform was chosen to handle ad operations throughout many News Ltd. publishing divisions. Nationwide News in Sydney is the first of what will be more than 100 national, city, and suburban News Ltd. titles working together on Mediaspectrum’s Web-based ad solution.
Mediaspectrum AdWatch, AdDrop, and eProofs were selected to transition News Ltd. from manual workflows to Web-based ad production using a centralized platform to consolidate core ad operations across Australia for streamlined and cost-effective ad management, according to Mediaspectrum.
“It is imperative that we take complete advantage of this technology and the significant opportunity for ad process change it presents,” Nationwide News General Manager Geoff Booth said in a statement. “The move from manual to Web-based workflows is certain to have a tremendous impact on both minimized costs and ad production complexities.”
AdWatch monitors all ad production process and allows users to search for ads and ad components, make ad assignments and preview ads before they go to digital or print output. Mediaspectrum eProofs enables staff and customers to streamline ad proofing and the status of future advertisements. With AdDrop, publishers can tap Mediaspectrum’s ad upload portal to deliver finished, digital and print-ready ads.
