The Messenger Post Newspapers is closing some of its offices.

The Canandaigua, N.Y.-based company, which publishes 10 weeklies and one daily, said it is closing its Webster, Greece, and Irondequoit offices in New York. As a result, 12 full-time editorial and advertising employees will relocate to other offices.

George M. Ewing Jr., president of the company, told the Rochester Democrat and Chronicle: ?You never like to close something down. We’re doing it because with electronic communication, and how facile it is, we had very limited walk-in traffic.?
