Two Michigan newspapers, The Saginaw News and The Bay City Times, have launched EverythingTri-Cities.com, a regional Web site showcasing the activities and offerings of the Tri-Cities.

A joint offering of The Saginaw News and The Bay City Times, the site spotlights entertainment opportunities in the three counties. It features an interactive events calendar that allows for browsing offerings by day or by category, including concerts, arts activities or sports.

Also featured are lists of community resources, including businesses, schools, and the like.

“It’s a cultural, social, recreational, lifestyle page. The key question it answers is: What’s there to do?” Bay City Times Editor John P. Hiner tols the Saginaw News.

The site?s launch came out of a push by leaders in Saginaw, Bay, and Midland counties to develop a regional identity for economic development and quality-of-life initiatives.
