The Suburban Newspapers of America’s (SNA) National Network named Mike Zuniga as its chief operating officer. Currently, Zuniga is national sales director for the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, where he also oversees the paper’s Suburban Journals.
“We wanted to find a chief executive that had a strong passion for the community newspaper industry combined with a deep understanding of the needs of national advertisers,” Nancy Lane, president of the Network and SNA, said in a statement. “Mike Zuniga fills that role perfectly.”
Zuniga also served as national sales director for the Denver Newspaper Agency, which publishes the Denver Post and the Rocky Mountain News.
Nineteen suburban and community newspaper companies own the network managed by SNA.
