MILAN-BASED TERA OPENS U.S. OFFICE

European Publishing System Looks To Expand

Tera S.p.A., a developer of newspaper publishing systems based in Milan, Italy, has opened a U.S. office in Bedford, N.H.

Tim Kacprowicz has been named managing director of the U.S. division to handle technical support and sales to American customers. Kacprowicz has worked at Konica Graphic Systems, Atex, Graphic Enterprises, and Gerber Systems.
Tera previously was represented in the U.S. by Software Consulting Services, a Nazareth, Pa.-based firm that will continute to act as a reseller of Tera.

Tera creates the GoodNews publishing system which has been installed in more than 150 locations worldwide. A dozen newspapers in the U.S. use the system, including The Free Lance-Star in Fredericksburg, Va., the Fayetteville (N.C.) Observer-Times, and The Desert Sun in Palm Springs, Calif.
