Journal Sentinel Inc. has named Sharon Prill Vice President of Interactive Media & Marketing for the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
Prill currently serves as Interactive Media Director at The News Tribune in Tacoma, Washington, where she oversees online content, operations, research, product development, technology, sales, and marketing.
Under Prill’s leadership, the newspaper redesigned and re-branded its core website, launched a new local search portal, higher-utility classified verticals and a new real estate site.
Prior to joining The News Tribune, Prill was the Online Print Advertising Manager at the Seattle Times, where she headed a joint team of electronic and print marketers. She joined the Times as a “Times Fellow” which enabled her to participate in a three-year development program involving management positions in advertising, news, production, human resources, circulation, finance and information technology. Prill is a native of Hawaii and a 1994 graduate of The University of Washington.
At the Journal Sentinel, Prill will be responsible for all Interactive content, sales, and technology, as well as marketing services, research and community relations support. She will join the newspaper in early November.
