Shifts Gears

By: Lucia Moses plans to roll out in January its skilled and hourly online job-match service nationwide, not market by market as originally planned, executives said during an earnings conference call last week.

The site will be promoted via TV, direct mail, and Monster’s AOL and MSN partnerships, as well as through expanded field and phone sales forces, methods that executives said worked well in Cincinnati, where Monster is testing an hourly job site.

They also claimed the 7-month-old Cincinnati pilot is beating The Cincinnati Enquirer‘s own hourly job site in revenue and job postings.
