Data Sciences Inc. in Laurel, Md., has signed an agreement to install DSI/WebCirc at The New York Sun.
The 106,000-circulation five-day Sun, which debuted six years ago as “the first general-interest broadsheet … launched in New York in two generations,” is the 27th newspaper using DSI/WebCirc.
After using DSI/Circ for several years, Circulation Director Linda Seto said in a statement, “the Web module is the next logical step to incorporate into our growth strategy. Offering our subscribers multiple ways to communicate with us is important.”
In addition to its circulation system, DSI offers an advertising-management system, fully integrated Web-browser product, postal products from Group 1 Software, analytical tools from Dimensional Insight, route optimization from Route Smart, and interactive speech-recognition software from VoicePort.
