Nashville ‘Tennessean’ Names New Political Editor

Clint Brewer has been named political editor of The Tennessean in Nashville.

Brewer, who is set to join the Tennessean June 28, has just completed a 14-month tenure at the Tennessee Center for Policy Research where he served as executive director and edited the Tennessee Watchdog.org Website.

Previously, Brewer served as executive editor of The City Paper and Nashville Post Website; was a reporter and editor of The Lebanon Democrat; served as publisher of the Mt. Juliet News; and was news editor at the Gallatin News Examiner.

A former national president of the Society of Professional Journalists, Brewer is a board member of the Tennessee Press Association and a four-time winner of the Malcolm Law Memorial Award for Investigative Reporting from the Tennessee Associated Press Managing Editors.
