Site Says It Will Pursue New Business Initiatives
The new APBNews.com announced last week a new direction for the company. The acclaimed crime news Web site was recently saved from bankruptcy court by SafetyTips.com.
The company said it is pursuing a number of business initiatives to further develop revenues and site traffic, including a joint venture with Prentice Hall.
The new management team includes Yovette Mumford, CEO of New APB News Inc. and SafetyTips.com; Marshall Davidson, chairman of APB; Aaron German, president and COO of APB; and Hoag Levins, vice president for content and executive editor.
The site said it will expand its news staff to increase content and to service syndication partners. The site’s staff dwindled when the company went broke this summer.
