New City Editor for North Andover ?Eagle-Tribune?

Warren Talbot has been named city editor of The Eagle-Tribune in North Andover, Mass. He has served as night editor for the past five years.

Prior to joining the Eagle-Tribune, Talbot held several positions at The Patriot Ledger in Quincy, Mass., for 25 years. He is a former adjunct professor of journalism at Northeastern University and Boston University.

According to the Eagle-Tribune, Talbot was awarded a three-month Knight International Press Fellowship in Eastern Europe in 1994 and was selected for an editor’s fellowship by the William Allen White School of Journalism and Mass Communications at the University of Kansas.

He succeeds Cheryl Rock, who is retiring.
