Early next year, printing of The Daily News in Greenville, Mich., will move into a new building purchased by Stafford Communications Group as the new location of its NewsWeb commercial printing business.

Production, sales, and customer service will move into the approximately 50,000-square-foot building, according to a Daily News story by Executive Editor Carl Gustin, who quoted SCG President Robert Stafford saying, “Our hope is to have the presses up and running by the end of February 2006.”

The company bought six new Goss Community units that it will add to an existing press after it is moved from the downtown site. Daily News business and editorial offices will remain at the downtown address, where, said Stafford, “We’re still looking at the various options for the best utilization of our soon-to-be-vacant manufacturing space.”
