A dot-com is taking steps to help auto dealers more easily advertise
in newspapers.

The deal benefits car dealers that participate in the cars.com
database and who advertise in newspapers using any of these three
systems: CarWave.com’s AutoPrint, GMTI’s Celebro, or Pentawave’s
AutoChooser.

Cars.com will also offer discounts on these three print-integration
systems to newspaper affiliates.

‘Cars.com partnered with these premier players to enable newspapers
to deliver added service to a key advertising audience car dealers,’
said the site’s general manager, Mitch Golub.

Karen Taylor, marketing manager for Gannett Media Technologies

International (GMTI) in Cincinnati, said the agreement is already

helping her company expand relationships with non-Gannett newspapers.

‘This relationship gives our customers a seamless way to integrate Web

publishing and print publishing – making it easier to create

bundled multi-media ad buys,’ she said.
