Newest Handelsman Animation Parodies “3 a.m.” Clinton Ad

By: E&P Staff

Walt Handelsman’s latest animation is a hilarious parody of the Hillary Clinton campaign ad about being prepared to take 3 a.m. calls in the White House.

In the animation, a terrorist calls the White House and gets stymied in voice-mail hell.

Handelsman — of Newsday in Melville, N.Y., and Tribune Media Services — won the 2007 Pulitzer Prize for editorial cartooning partly because of his animation work.

The animation can be viewed here.
