Newsday is expected to announce another round of layoffs.
The paper reported today that the cuts will include staff from the newsroom and will affect the New York City edition. In June 2004, the Melville, N.Y.-based paper announced it had misstated its circulation by about 100,000 copies.
Newsday Spokesman Stu Vincent told E&P that the paper plans to issue a statement this afternoon.
