The New York Times announced today that Nora Ephron, the journalist/novelist/film director, will join the paper as a guest columnist beginning this Sunday, May 13.
?I am absolutely thrilled that Nora has agreed to come on board,? said Andrew Rosenthal, editorial page editor, The New York Times, in a statement. ?Her recent articles for us — on subjects ranging from presidential interns to cabbage
strudel — have been hilarious, insightful and deeply memorable. I look forward to seeing her name and her words on the Op-Ed page with even greater frequency.?
Ephron has been blogging regularly for Huffington Post. Her current book, “I Feel Bad About My Neck,” has been a strong bestseller.
She got her start as a newspaper reporter in New York City and went on to direct films such as “Sleepless in Seattle.” Her film “Heartburn” was partly based on her marriage to Carl Bernstein.
