The New York Sun announced today the launch of its partnership with Inform Technologies, LLC, a New York City-based company that helps publishing companies with their online products.
The partnership will work on expanding links to and from the paper?s Web site, nysun.com. According to a statement, Inform?s algorithmic information tagging system will embed links on the Sun?s Web site to related information and articles on the internet, information on the paper?s affiliate brands and archives, and other multimedia sites.
?In the few short days since our soft launch, we?ve already experienced measurable increases in traffic,? the Sun?s general manager Augie Fields said in the statement. ?We have every reason to believe that these enhancements along with an upcoming redesign and expanded product offerings will result in an unmatched user experience and continued explosive growth in viewership and advertising revenues.?
