(AP) The cost of home delivery for The New York Times will increase by an average of 16% beginning Feb. 4.
The increase, announced in letters sent to its home subscribers Friday, will boost the cost of seven-day home delivery to $9.25 per week. Delivery of the Sunday paper will cost $4.
The paper also offers a variety of other delivery options. Overall, the average customer will pay about 16% more to get the paper at home, said Catherine Mathis, a Times spokeswoman.
