The New York Times announced its second international content-swap agreement this week. NYTimes.com’s international section will offer links to the BBC World Service’s audio content.
Two one-hour audio programs will be offered in addition to five-minute news bulletins on global news.
The Times is the first U.S. newspaper to sign a deal of this type with the London-based BBC. The media groups said they hoped to expand their relationship in the coming months.
Earlier in the week, the Times announced that it would provide selected content to Le Monde in Paris.
