Obama Joins McCain in Speaking At AP Annual Meeting Next Month

Sen. Barack Obama is scheduled to speak at the Associated Press annual meeting luncheon on April 14 in Washington, D.C., AP announced Friday.

The news cooperative also revealed that his remarks would be Webcast live from the Washington Convention Center on that day. The first-term Illinois senator and Democratic presidential candidate will be at the afternoon portion of AP’s annual meeting of newspaper and broadcast members.

The morning session that day will feature an interview by AP political writers Ron Fournier and Liz Sidoti with likely Republican nominee John McCain.
