Owing to unspecified production problems that prevented presses from running until 6 a.m., the July 7 print edition of the Standard-Examiner, Ogden Utah, could not be delivered in a timely manner.
A production manager could not be reached immediately for comment on the nature of the problem.
The paper’s Website said circulation personnel worked throughout the day to deliver copies to all subscribers and single-copy outlets as soon as possible.
In the meantime, besides its free Website, the paper removed pay requirements for its electronic edition.
