The eighth annual conference of the Online News Association (ONA) will be held Oct. 17-19, 2007, in Toronto, the organization announced today.
It will close with the announcement of the 2007 Online Journalism Awards.
?This year?s conference, our first international gathering, is not to be missed by online news professionals or anyone else interested in how news and information are disseminated online,? said Ju-Don Roberts, conference chairperson and managing editor of washingtonpost.com, in a statement.
?The three tracks ? community and convergence, content and design, and business ? are designed to meet the needs of our various constituencies. In addition, we’ll have several hands-on workshops and panels to give participants the skills they need in a multimedia landscape. Plan to attend and get your passport ready.?
