After the Detroit Red Wings beat the Pittsburgh Penguins in the Stanley Cup finals, Pittburgh Post-Gazette editorial cartoonist had to wear a Pavel Datsyuk shirt at his office.

Rogers donned the jersey of the Red Wings player because he lost a bet to Detroit Free Press editorial cartoonist Mike Thompson over the outcome of the hockey series.

Thompson is syndicated by Copley News Service, while Rogers’ work is distributed by United Media.

The bet was mentioned today on Alan Gardner’s Daily Cartoonist blog, which can be seen here.
