‘Outzkirts’ Comic Makes ‘Daily Progress’

“Outzkirts,” the self-syndicated comic that has built a list of more than 50 newspapers since its 2000 launch, has signed a daily client.
The paper is the Jacksonville (Texas) Daily Progress.
“Outzkirts” features a couple (Bud and Edna) and their small dog (Rusty) who live on the outskirts of town. The comic is created by a California couple, David and Doreen Dotson. David does the writing and Doreen the art.
