Owner of Georgia Newspaper, Other Businesses, Faces Nearly $1M in Tax Liens

The owner of Houston County’s oldest newspaper – the Houston Home Journal – and several other mid-state businesses faces nearly $1 million in liens to satisfy unpaid county, federal and state taxes, including payroll withholding taxes, reports the Macon Telegraph.

About 40 liens have been filed against Daniel F. “Danny” Evans, personally, and through various companies, including Sun Multimedia Inc., the newspaper reports.
