The San Francisco Chronicle does some great multimedia projects, and this morning I came across a series of audio photo essays by Mike Kepka.
He went out and took shots of different slices of San Francisco life, such as a guy who sells flowers, young people out on St. Patrick’s Day, even a leather party. He paired the photos with recorded interviews and then had an instant story that is told in less than five minutes.
The project isn’t complicated but shows a nice swatch of San Francisco.
