By: E&P Staff

The ToonSeum at Pittsburgh’s Children’s Museum will hold a March 8-April 27 exhibit called “Inside ‘Peanuts’: The Life and Art of Charles M. Schulz.”

The show — organized by the Charles M. Schulz Museum of Santa Rosa, Calif. — features more than 40 “Peanuts” comics as well as examples of strips by other cartoonists such as George Herriman (“Krazy Kat”), Milton Caniff (“Terry and the Pirates”), and Elzie Segar (“Thimble Theatre” — also known as “Popeye”).

In conjunction with the exhibit, there’ll be a “Snoopy Dance Party” on March 8, live performances of “Peanuts” tunes by jazz saxophonist Lee Robinson on March 9 and March 29, appearances by cartoonist Joe Wos on March 21 and April 26, a “Peanuts” trivia contest on March 30, and appearances by Snoopy on April 12 and 13.

“Peanuts” reruns continue to be syndicated by United Media.
