Pioneer’s David Lord Elected a VP at PAGE Co-op

Seattle-based Pioneer Newspapers President David Lord has been elected a vice president of the PAGE, where he replaces Gary Shorts, who left the newspaper purchasing cooperative’s board of directors.

Appointed to finish Shorts’ term as director was Brandon Eyerly, publisher of the Press-Enterprise, Bloomsburg, Pa., one the largest purchasing members of the cooperative since its beginning, in 1984.

Headquartered in King of Prussia, Pa., PAGE is owned by its 256 member newspaper companies, which publish 566 dailies with a combined circulation of almost 12 million.
