Hilda Terry, the “Teena” comic creator who became the first female member of the National Cartoonists Society in 1950, has died at the age of 92.

“Teena” was syndicated from 1941 to 1966, according to ComicsReporter.com. Terry was also a magazine cartoonist and award-winning animator.
