The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, and The Legal Intelligencer, the nation’s oldest daily legal newspaper, are partnering on content to expand coverage of legal news for the region’s businesses. The Post-Gazette will launch a print and online legal news section every Monday, beginning Oct. 4, with bylined news and analysis from both publications, which also will sell print and online advertising.
Within the business section, the weekly section will include an original Intelligencer column and other state and regional court, legislative and law firm news from the legal newspaper selected by Post-Gazette editors. The section also will be available free at www.post-gazette.com, with links to www.thelegalintelligencer.com.
“Partnering with the Post-Gazette will allow us to provide even deeper and more analytical content” to Pittsburgh and Western Pennsylvania, Legal Intelligencer Editor in Chief Hank Grezlak said in a statement.
Calling it “a model for other markets,” Legal Intelligencer Publisher Hal said “legal developments and court decisions today have a broad impact on all aspects of business and hold strong interest for these readers. We look forward to expanding our relationship with the Post-Gazette in the future to include new digital initiatives and events.”
Official publication for Philadelphia County legal notices, the Legal Intelligencer is part of ALM’s Pennsylvania Newspaper Group, which serves Pennsylvania, Delaware and Southern New Jersey. An integrated media company, ALM provides specialized business news and information, focused on the legal and commercial real estate sectors.
