The Plain Dealer in Cleveland was named the best big daily newspapers in Ohio at the Press Club of Cleveland’s 32th annual Ohio Excellence in Journalism Award ceremony this weekend.

The Morning Journal in Lisbon was named best daily under 100,000 circulation. The Cleveland Scene was named the best non-daily in the alternatives category. There was a tie in the mainstream non-daily category between the Cleveland Jewish News and Stow Sentry.
