If you’re a media buyer or planner, you undoubtedly know about podcasting. You’ve probably listened to podcasts. You may have a whole queue of them waiting on iTunes.
But the vast majority of Americans have never listened to a podcast. Many don’t even know what they are.
That could be about to change, with a deal made on Monday. Pandora, the country’s biggest online radio service, has acquired rights to “Serial,” the most popular podcast ever produced.
