Pressmart, a new-media delivery partner for newspapers and magazines in more than 21 countries, has appointed Myles M. Fuchs as its North American president, a newly created, New York-based position with responsibility for sales and marketing efforts in the U.S. and Canadian markets.
Pressmart partners with more than 120 publishing clients, including Trinity Mirror in the United Kingdom, the World Association of Newspapers, and India’s Hindustan Times and Mint (partner of the The Wall Street Journal).
Previously senior vice president at NewsStand Inc., an early developer and provider of software and solutions for processing and marketing of digital editions of newspapers and magazines, Fuchs was responsible for developing and implementing a strategy leading to a 300% increase in sales.
A subsidiary of Bodhtree Consulting Ltd., Hyderabad, India, Pressmart has digitized more than 400 years’ worth of newspapers, magazines and journals. Its ePaper solution delivers electronic editions of daily newspapers, magazines or any other publication on the Web.
