The Honolulu Star-Bulletin brought back “Preteena” yesterday after readers protested the dropping of the Universal Press Syndicate strip.

Allison Barrows’ comic replaces “B.C.,” the Creators Syndicate strip that’s being continued by Johnny Hart’s family after Hart died last month.

The Sunday version of “Preteena,” which stars a 10-year-old girl named Teena, will return to the Star-Bulletin this summer.
