“Newspapers across the country are continuing to recognize the growth in online revenues throughout the publishing industry, and advertisers are definitely interested in alternative solutions for ad placement in print, online or both formats,” AdStar President and CEO Leslie Bernhard said in a prepared statement.

The Providence Journal (www.projo.com) and www.pe.com. The has a daily circulation of about 153,000. The Press-Enterprise, www.pe.com, has a circulation about 218,000.
